Biography

Dr. Mingdong Dong (MD) has obtained his Bachelor\'s from Central South University, China, Master\'s degrees Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. He did his PhD study at the University of Aarhus Denmark. After obtaining his PhD degree, he continued with a Postdoctoral Research Positions at iNANO Denmark and Harvard University, USA. His research interests focus on both the implementation and further development of a novel SPM technique to study the dynamics and material properties of biological systems with submolecular resolution and high scanning speed. He is also fully involved in developing new functional nanomaterials. He has published more than 90 papers in top international journals (include Nature, Nature Nanotech., Nature Com, PNAS, Nano Letters, J. Am. Chem. Soc., Small, Nano Today etc.). In addition, he was also a guest editor for several international peer review journals including Energy and Environment Science etc.

Research Interest

His research interests focus on both the implementation and further development of a novel SPM technique to study the dynamics and material properties of biological systems with submolecular resolution and high scanning speed.
