Biography

Carmen Cerecedo. Founder, General Manager and Board of Directors of Neoker, S.L.. PhD in Chemistry by the USC in advanced materials and degree in Chemistry and also degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (specialist in working safety). She has co-developed the technology used in Neoker, co-authored 7 patents and she presently manages all R&D projects of the company. She has many scientific papers in Journals with high impact factor and she also participated in many R&D projects developing and patenting new ceramic process. She has participated in dozens of R&D projects in public founded calls related to the development of new (ceramic) materials. Her project, Neoker, has received the Innovation National Award by ENISA in 2007. Presently he has also been appointed as Deputy Director of Advanced Composite Materials Research Centre, (associated with TsingHua Innovation Centre in Dongguan, China), and Member of the Science Comitte “Saphire Fibre Manufacture and Application R&D” Innovative Team.
