Biography

Chao Yang has completed his PhD at the age of 28 years from State Key Laboratory of Metastable Materials Science and Technology (Yanshan University) and postdoctoral studies from National Engineering Research Center of Near-net-shape Forming for Metallic Materials (South China University of Technology).

Research Interest

Chao Yang is the vice director of Key Laboratory (Category B) of High-efficiency Near-net-shape Forming Technology and Equipments for Metallic Materials (Ministry of Education, PRC), managing director of Youth Committee of Chinese Materials Research Society, and full member of The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS). He has published more than 90 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board member.
