Biography

Ms. Shabana P. S. Shaikh has completed his PhD at the age of 26 years from RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur India and postdoctoral studies from Fuel cell Institute, National University of Malaysia, Malayisa. She has total eperience of teaching and research of almost 10 years. She is currently doing her third post-doctorate from SP Pune university in the field of Materials science. She has published total 9 first author papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an reviewer in several high impact reputed journal.

Research Interest

(i) Nanotechnology: synthesis of metal composites nano-particles and their application (ii) Solid Oxide Fuel Cell: Synthesis and analysis of electrode, electrolyte component and symmetric cell. (iii) Polymer Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC): Synthesis and analysis of electrode, electrolyte component and symmetric cell. (iv) Method development for synthesis of component of fuel cell in laboratory. (v) Testing/Analysis using four probe DC conductivity and Electrochemical Impedance Analyzer, X-ray Diffractor, Elemental diffraction studies (EDS), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope. (vi) Synthesis and characterization of cermet based anode materials for Solid Oxide Fuel Cell, Nanomaterials, Nanocomposite, Electrolyte, and smart materials using different chemical synthesis technique. (vii) Energy materials –Nanocomposite for fuel cell technology (viii) Pulse Laser Deposition techniques, thin films synthesis and analysis
