Professor Efstathios “Stathis” I. Meletis is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at The University of Texas at Arlington. He earned his Diploma in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, followed by M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Materials Science and Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in the United States. UTA records confirm these degrees and his appointment in Materials Science and Engineering.
